Dr Djordje Janaćković is Professor at FTM. He obtained his BSc, MSc degrees in chemical technology at the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, University of Belgrade in 1990 and 1995, respectively. He obtained PhD at the same Faculty on 1999. In the period from 2007-2012 he was Vice-Dean and was appointed as a Dean of the Faculty for the period from 2012 to 2018. He is the Head of the Nanotechnology and Functional materials Centre of the Faculty since 2009 and the Director of the Innovation Center of the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, Belgrade, since 2018. He is author of 123 publications in peer-review journals with more than 1800 citations, h-index of 23, and about sixteen projects, elaborates or studies. His research investigations are related with nanostructured ceramic materials processing; powder/materials synthesis by sol-gel method, ultrasonic spray pyrolysis, coprecipitation, sintering, determination of surface properties of materials, investigation of kinetics and mechanism of phase transformations, processing of nanostructured porous or dense ceramics and bioceramics. He was leader of the project FP7-REGPOT-2009-1, Reinforcing of Nanotechnology and Functional Materials Centre, Grant agreement 245916, 2010-2012. He led or participated in several national and international projects within EUREKA, TEMPUS, ERASMUS+, SIDA and HERD programs.
