Dr Меlinа Kаlаgаsidis Krušić, Professor at FTM, obtained her BSc, MSc and PhD degrees in Polymer Engineering at the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, University of Belgrade in 1999, 2003 and 2006, respectively. She was awarded a Medal of the Serbian Chemical Society for Success and Dedication in Science (2007). Since the year 2002, Меlinа Kаlаgаsidis Krusic is employed at the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, University of Belgrade, where she is appointed Full Professor in 2017. She was a visiting professor at Faculty of Metallurgy and Technology, University of Montenegro (2011-2013). In the period 2012-2018, Dr Kalagasidis Krusic was the Head of the Department for Organic Chemical Technology at the same Faculty; she is the secretary of the Serbian Chemical Society (2016- ). Currently, Dr Kalagasidis Krusic is Vice Dean at the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, University of Belgrade (2018-) and National Representative for the IUPAC Polymer Division (2019-). Dr Kalagasidis Krusic is author of 47 peer-reviewed articles and more than 70 papers presented at national and international scientific conferences. She has been the coordinator of two bilateral collaborative projects Serbia-Italy (680-00-566/2013-09/4 and 451-03-01231/2015-09/5); she is also participating or has been participating in 1 international (FP7-REGPOT 2009-1) and 5 national scientific projects; project leader for “Multifunctional color catcher balls” (now “Dr.Knight“) funded by TTF Innovation Fund Program (2017); Climate-KIC RIS Accelerator Stage 1 (2018) and Stage 2 (2019); co-founder of the Startup “Dr.Knight“.
