Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy has participated in the International Festival of Innovation, Knowledge and Creativity TESLA FEST 2021 held in Novi Sad, October 12 -15, 2021 and organized by the Association of Inventors Vojvodina. Within the exhibition Novel Multifunctional Biomaterials for Applications in Medicine a range of novel biomaterials were presented as well as the novel biomimetic bioreactor system for biomedical research.

Also, Prof. Bojana Obradović had the opportunity to present the ExcellMater project, the consortium, main goals and activities.
At the closing ceremony of the TESLA FEST 2021, the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy was awarded the Golden medal for the innovation Novel Multifunctional Biomaterials for Applications in Medicine. Also, the Faculty was awarded the WIPO medal for significant contribution to inventive and innovative activity and national wealth and development.

The University Politehnica of Bucharest, Romania, bestowed the Excellence Innovation Award to the team of Prof. Bojana Obradović for the invention Novel biomimetic perfusion bioreactor system for biomedical research.
