The ExcellMater project and several classes of biomaterials with high potentials for practical utilization developed at the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy (FTM) were presented at the webinar New biomaterials in pharmaceutical industry organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia on March 24, 2022. The webinar included presentations of multifunctional biomaterials aimed for wound treatment, inorganic biomaterials for applications in dentistry, composite hydrogels and coatings for orthopedic applications and polymer biomaterials and composites for controlled drug delivery. The goal of the webinar was to introduce research results in the area of biomaterials engineering obtained at FTM to producers of medical devices, drugs, and dietary supplements in order to establish collaborative links and partnerships.
